Top Air Travel Apps in Nigeria Q3 2025: Performance Insights

In the third quarter of 2025, the air travel app market in Nigeria saw varied performance across the top five applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed distinct trends in weekly downloads and active users.

Wakanow: Flights, Hotels, Cars maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 18.3K and 21.4K. Active users displayed a steady increase, starting at approximately 244.5K and peaking at 261.4K by the end of the quarter.

Qatar Airways experienced a peak in weekly downloads at 15.1K in late July, followed by a decline to 4.8K by the end of September. Active users showed a similar pattern, reaching a high of nearly 50K before decreasing to 40K.

Royal Air Maroc saw a significant rise in downloads early in the quarter with a peak of 29.6K. However, this number fell to around 3.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, starting from a high of 52.9K and declining to 16.5K.

Ethiopian Airlines had a peak in downloads at 12.9K mid-July, tapering off to 4.5K by late September. Active users showed a modest increase, reaching 19.4K towards the end of the quarter.

Air Peace maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 1.2K to 1.7K. However, specific data on active users was not available.
